Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Assist with
monthly bookkeeping
for U.S. clients using
QuickBooks Desktop
Support
bank and credit card reconciliations
, cleanup, and tie-outs
Prepare
draft financial reports
(P&L, Balance Sheet, GL review) for review
Assist with
U.S. payroll processing
using
QuickBooks Payroll/ADP/Gusto
Support
payroll compliance filings

941, 940, W-2, 1099, DE 9/DE 9C
Assist with
U.S. state sales tax filings
including
California CDTFA
Maintain
accurate workpapers
and monthly closing schedules
Follow
process checklists and workflows
Coordinate with senior accountants for
review comments and adjustments
Respond to
basic IRS/State payroll/sales tax notices
using templates
Contribute to a
team-based environment
with daily coordination and reporting

Preferred candidate profile

3-5 years
hands-on experience with
U.S. bookkeeping and payroll (required)
Must have strong experience with
QuickBooks Desktop (required)
Working knowledge of
QuickBooks Payroll
,
ADP or Gusto payroll platforms
Familiar with
U.S. payroll compliance forms
(941, 940, W-2, 1099, DE 9/DE 9C)
Experience assisting with
state sales tax filings
(
CDTFA
preferred)
Strong reconciliation and month-end accounting skills
Good verbal and written
English communication
Detail-oriented, dependable, and team-minded
Certifications (optional):
QuickBooks Certified, NIIT/ICAI ATC, Excel Certification
Must be willing to work
U.S. shift (1:30 PM 10:30 PM IST)
