Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our real estate team. The Surveyor will be responsible for measuring and mapping land, verifying property boundaries, and providing critical data that supports the planning, development, and legal compliance of real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct land surveys using GPS, total stations, drones, and other modern surveying equipment.
Determine property boundaries by researching legal documents such as land titles, deeds, and previous survey records.
Prepare site layout plans, topographical maps, and boundary plans for use in property development and legal documentation.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and legal teams during land acquisition and development phases.
Inspect sites to check measurements and monitor any changes or discrepancies in site layouts.
Ensure survey data and reports meet local and national regulations and standards.
Assist with subdivision of land, plotting, and demarcation for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field.
Certification or license as a licensed surveyor (as per local legal requirements).
25 years of experience in real estate or land surveying preferred.
Proficiency with surveying instruments, CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D), and GIS systems.
Strong knowledge of property law, land use regulations, and construction practices.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
Strong communication skills to present findings clearly and accurately.
