Job Title: Taxation & Audit Compliance Executive / Manager Location: [Insert Location] Job Type: [Full-time / Contract / Part-time] Experience Required: [2-5 Years / 5-10 Years etc.] Department: Finance & Accounts Reporting To: [CFO / Finance Head / Audit Manager] Key Responsibilities: Taxation: Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns. Handle assessments, appeals, and other statutory notices. Coordinate with consultants for direct and indirect tax matters. Reconcile tax liabilities and input credits. Stay updated with the latest tax laws and amendments. Audit & Compliance: Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits. Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor queries. Ensure compliance with Companies Act, FEMA, and other applicable laws. Maintain documentation and records as per audit and compliance requirements. Support in filing returns with ROC, RBI, etc. Other: Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies. Assist with financial reporting from a compliance perspective. Implement process improvements to reduce tax risks and improve audit readiness. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (CA/CA Inter preferred). Solid knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and audit processes. Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or any ERP systems. Strong Excel and analytical skills. Good understanding of Indian regulatory and compliance framework.
