Job Description

Hand-on experience in

Performance tuning & Monitoring - Oracle OEM, Script-Based Tools
HA & replication - Oracle Data Guard, Log Miner & RAC.
Backup Solutions - Oracle RMAN, Datapump, Export/Import
Expert in database and system level tuning, ability to review all Oracle and system performance reports (AWR, ADDM, ASH Reports)

Plan and execute the migration of DB tables from Oracle database to a dedicated reporting database.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and minimal disruption during the migration process.
Perform pre- and post-migration validations to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with project teams, customer IT teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure smooth execution of the project.
Work with IT security teams to ensure compliance with security standards.
Configure and integrate the reporting database with the customers SSO system using protocols such as SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect.
Ensure secure user authentication and seamless access post-migration.
Database Performance monitoring and tuning related activities.
Develops and implements corrective measures for database issues/problems found during monitoring.
Database Patching/Upgrade/Migration activities.
Database Audit related tasks
Database hardening tasks
Database maintenance activities like index rebuild / stats gather / database archiving or purging
Own, track and resolve database related incidents and requests, fulfilling requests and resolving incidents within SLAs.
Ensure up-to date documentation is available for all database processes.
Hand-on experience in

Performance tuning & Monitoring - Oracle OEM, Script-Based Tools
HA & replication - Oracle Data Guard, Log Miner & RAC.
Backup Solutions - Oracle RMAN, Datapump, Export/Import

Good understanding of OCI, AWS RDS and EC2 instances.
Hands-on experience with SSO systems (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Azure Entra Id) and protocols like SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect.
Expert in database and system level tuning, ability to review all Oracle and system performance reports (AWR, ADDM, ASH Reports)
