Urgent Opening For Intern-New Business Issuance - Customer Service

Your typical week might include the following.

• Manage the overall New Business issuance to drive operational excellence across all retail lines of business issuance handling activities.
• Oversee NB operations functions that support the administration, risk assessment, and issuance of health applications.
• Implement projects aimed at streamlining operations or improving servicing capabilities.
• Support new product launches by establishing appropriate guidelines for the initiatives.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance.
• Lead vertical projects and ensure smooth and timely implementation.
• Manage the day-to-day functions of the unit, including people, systems, stakeholders, and other aspects.
• This role requires a comprehensive understanding of risk analysis, the ability to analyze data, and make informed decisions.
• Engage in strategic planning, managing, coordinating, controlling, and monitoring unit plans to ensure that the operational objectives of the department and the company are met.
• Ensure appropriate measures and controls are in place to prevent operational leakages and effectively manage fraud.
• Determine appropriate training for subordinates to ensure they remain aligned with market and business requirements.
• Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate across business units to provide operational input into business decisions, budgeting processes, etc.
