Job Scope:

  • In the era of big data, the role of Sales Data Analyst has become increasingly crucial.
  • Business strategies evolve with every new data set, and the demand for skilled individuals who can interpret, analyze, and leverage sales data for business growth is mounting.
  • The role is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and presenting sales data to help guide sales strategies, improve customer experience, and increase sales across five markets in Africa.
  • Responsible for utilizing analytical and technical skills to extract information from data and turn it into comprehensible insights for decision making across 5 markets in Africa.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Create and maintain dashboards and visualization tools to present data in an understandable and accessible way.
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (INTERNAL / EXTERNAL

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data using statistical techniques
  • Identify patterns and trends in data sets and interpret the data to help the company make better business decisions
  • Work with sales management to develop and implement strategies based on data analysis for improved sales.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand and report on sales goals and results and identify sales trends and patterns
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders highlighting findings and providing actionable insights
  • Create and maintain dashboards and visualization tools to present data in an understandable and accessible way
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
  • Assist in setting sales targets and in determining sales forecasts. Use data analysis to forecast future sales trends
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency of data reports and presentations by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for analytics employees to follow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies
  • Use data analytics tools and software to manage data, perform analyses, and generate reports
  • Use AI predictive tools to gain customer insights, right customer segment, needs-based analysis, to provide tailor-made insurance solutions to improve customer stickiness.

Who we are looking for (Knowledge & Technical Skills):

  • We are searching for an experienced Senior Sales Data Analyst to help us make informed decisions and improve our sales processes and improve performance management
  • The Senior Sales Data Analyst’s responsibilities include gathering and analyzing sales data, identifying sales trends, and proposing solutions for improvement.
  • Our ideal candidate should have the ability for analyzing sales statistics, a love of numbers, and a desire to help the business to grow our business by understanding our sales data.
  • Ultimately, the role of the Sales Data Analyst is to use sales data to help the business to understand our market and competitors, identify opportunities for growth, and measure the success of sales campaigns.

Work Experience:

  • At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Agency Distribution and Operations and exposure in multiple markets will be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with AI and Data Analytics tools
  • Experience in interfacing with Teams across multiple markets

Education:

  • 1st Degree in relevant field of study
  • A Master’s Degree an advantage
  • Technical knowledge in AI is added advantage
