BI Analyst

• A BI (Business Intelligence) Analyst is responsible for turning data into actionable insights, empowering teams to make informed business decisions.
• As a BI Analyst at our SaaS company, you will analyze large datasets, build interactive reports, and collaborate with teams to ensure that data-driven strategies are effectively executed.
• We are looking for a BI Analyst to work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, etc.) to identify opportunities, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and relevance for reporting.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Zoho Analytics).
• Analyze business performance, customer behavior, and product usage patterns to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define business metrics, KPIs, and reporting requirements.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support decision-making across the organization.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, and communicate findings through visualizations and presentations.
• Work with the engineering team to optimize data pipelines and ensure seamless data flow.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in data processes, including automation and integration of new data sources.
• Translate business questions into data-driven solutions and share insights with non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest BI tools and best practices to continuously improve reporting and analytics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BI Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Zoho Analytics.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience working with large datasets and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift).
• Excellent data storytelling skills; ability to create clear, concise, and visually appealing reports.
• Strong analytical thinking with a focus on actionable insights and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different teams.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and familiarity with tools like Python or R is a plus.
• BSc/BA in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
