Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Manager Sales to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Biotechnology, with 3+ years of experience in life science sales, preferably dealing with government-funded research institutions. This is a field-intensive role involving daily customer visits, client relationship management, and business development across key regions of Tamil Nadu.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily visits to customer sites, focusing on government-funded research institutions and academic organizations.

Promote and sell life science products and solutions to prospective clients.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with scientists, researchers, and procurement teams.

Plan and execute territory coverage including Vellore, Coimbatore, Madurai, and other nearby cities.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, after-sales support, and customer satisfaction.

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.

Candidate Requirements:

B.scMSc or B.Tech in Biotechnology (mandatory)

3+years of relevant sales experience in the life sciences or biotechnology sector

Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

Self-motivated and target-driven with a customer-centric approach

Willingness to travel extensively within Tamil Nadu
