Job Description

Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases across environments.
Perform database tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure performance and reliability.
Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
Implement database security policies, user roles, and access control.
Work on database migration, upgrades, and patch management.
Collaborate with developers and application teams for query optimization and performance improvements.
Ensure high availability and scalability for production systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA (version 11g/12c/19c).
Proficiency in
RMAN, Data Guard, ASM, and Oracle RAC
.
Experience in
backup/recovery, database migration, and replication
.
Knowledge of
Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
.
Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of database security and compliance.

Nice to Have

Experience with
cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/OCI)
.
Exposure to
automation (Ansible, Terraform, or similar)
.
Knowledge of other RDBMS (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) is a plus.
