About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Upholsterer to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for upholstering a wide range of furniture items including sofas, chairs, headboards, wall panels, and other custom furniture pieces. This role requires hands-on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work with premium fabrics and leather.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform upholstery work on furniture as per design and production requirements.
• Measure, cut, sew, and fit fabrics, leather, and foam materials.
• Assemble and upholster frames, ensuring precision and quality.
• Operate upholstery tools and machines (sewing machines, staplers, cutting tools, etc.).
• Repair, restore, and reupholster existing furniture when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.
• Work closely with production and design teams to meet project timelines.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an upholsterer or furniture craftsman (minimum 3–5 years preferred).
• Ability to work with a variety of fabrics, leather, and cushioning materials.
• Strong knowledge of stitching, padding, tufting, pleating, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and measurements.
• Keen eye for detail and quality.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines.

Preferred Background

• Experience in high-end or luxury furniture manufacturing.
• Familiarity with export-quality finishing standards.
• Knowledge of modern upholstery machinery.
