Unit Lead-HR

Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. Ensures organization staff is well-maintained by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program. Offers guidance to managers on candidate selection, conducts and analyzes exit interviews, and recommends necessary changes. Prepares employees for their roles by conducting orientation and training programs. Oversees planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results. Trains managers on coaching and disciplining employees, schedules management conferences, resolves employee grievances, and provides counseling to employees and supervisors. Manages employee benefits programs, assesses benefit needs and trends, recommends benefit programs, and educates employees on benefit programs. Ensures legal compliance with human resource federal and state requirements, conducts investigations, maintains records, and represents the organization at hearings. Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. Designs a filing and retrieval system to maintain historical human resource records. Stay updated on professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies. Manages human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results. Recruits, selects, orients, and trains human resource staff. Counsels and disciplines human resource staff, plans, monitors, and appraises job results. Preferably looking for candidates with a background in the hospital industry.
