Position Summary:

As the Unit Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and business growth within your unit, ensuring seamless service delivery, efficient branch management, and overall profitability. You will manage a team of branch managers and support functions, driving operational excellence and ensuring customer serviceability. Your role will focus on the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly business targets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation, managing P&L, and promoting operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Unit Operations and P&L Management

    Oversee the operations for the entire unit, ensuring timely vehicle placement at the right rate.

    Manage and monitor operational Key Result Areas (KRAs) like On-Time Delivery (OTD), Customer Serviceability, and Fulfillment.

    Drive profitability through margin control, cost optimization, and resource allocation.

    Contribute to business growth alongside the Business Development Manager by supporting branches in their sales and operational efforts.

Financial Control and Revenue Performance

    Manage unit-level revenue performance, ensuring revenue vs. target is achieved on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

    Track and analyze revenue contribution by service/product and ensure growth targets are met.

    Conduct profitability analysis with a focus on Net Contribution Margin (NCM) and cost structure optimization.

    Oversee debit management, including trend analysis, root cause identification, and preventive measures.

Operational Excellence

    Ensure fulfillment performance aligns with organizational expectations.

    Enforce service level compliance and improve process efficiency across branches.

    Oversee quality control metrics to maintain high service standards.

Team Management and Development

    Ensure appropriate staffing levels and efficient resource allocation across branches.

    Monitor employee productivity, satisfaction, and engagement, promoting continuous improvement.

    Oversee training and development programs to enhance team capabilities.

    Manage employee performance metrics, ensuring high engagement and retention.

Documentation and Compliance

    Ensure POD collection and processing efficiency across branches, recovering missing documents and reducing billing delays.

    Implement corrective actions for any documentation compliance issues that impact profitability.

Reporting and Dashboard Management

    Regularly update dashboards to track the unit's revenue performance, profitability, and operational metrics.

    Provide comprehensive reports on unit-level performance, including growth rates, market share, and financial control measures.
