Job Description

As a Unit Facility Management Specialist- Technical, you play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient facility operations in your unit. Your job is to manage both internal tasks and external FM service providers to maintain safe, compliant, cost-effective, and sustainable areas aligned with IKEA's goals. Your key responsibilities include: - Actively managing VT services and systems throughout the property lifecycle - Coordinating daily FM tasks and service provider performance with the Unit FM Manager - Leading and supporting FM audits, reviews, and compliance checks - Maintaining FM tools (e.g., CAFM), updating documentation, and tracking permits and certifications - Participating in tender processes for new FM providers and assisting in onboarding - Supporting sustainability and circularity goals in all FM-related operations - Contributing to budgeting, goal setting, and the unit's annual business planning - Analyzing performance data, generating reports to identify improvements and efficiencies - Working with cross-functional teams on facility-related projects and renovations You are required to have: - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in multi-unit facility management, preferably in a high-volume retail environment - Strong technical knowledge and practical experience with facility systems, especially in Vertical Transport (Elevators, Escalators & Travelators) - Knowledge of FM-related legislation, sustainability practices, and industry standards - Ability to communicate fluently in the local language and basic proficiency in English - Experience in cost control, reporting, and FM performance tools, preferably CAFM systems - Preferably, an academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or professional certification in Facility Management or a related field - Strong alignment with IKEA's culture, values, and commitment to a better everyday life for the many people The company Ingka Group is committed to being an equal opportunity employer, fostering an environment where experts in the real estate business collaborate to deliver safe, compliant, sustainable, and innovative property solutions.,
