Job Summary

Allmax’d is looking for a UI/UX Design Mentor (Part-Time) based in Calicut, who has industry experience and is passionate about teaching and mentoring.

As a mentor, you will guide students through the principles and practical applications of UI/UX design, conduct both online and offline sessions, and help learners build real-world design portfolios.

Note: Offline sessions will take place at partner colleges and schools in Calicut. Mentor training will be provided by Allmax’d.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1–2 hours of mentoring sessions daily (as assigned).

• Deliver offline sessions at partner campuses in Calicut and online sessions as scheduled.

• Teach students key design topics, including:

• Design Thinking and User Research

• Wireframing and Prototyping

• UI Design Principles and Visual Hierarchy

• Interaction Design and Usability Testing

• Building and Presenting Design Portfolios

• Train students on tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.

• Evaluate assignments, provide actionable feedback, and monitor progress.

• Share practical insights from real-world UI/UX projects.

• Collaborate with Allmax’d’s academic team to improve curriculum and student engagement.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of professional experience in UI/UX Design (agency, product company, or freelance).

• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.

• Good understanding of user-centered design, visual design, and usability principles.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Based in or near Calicut and willing to travel to assigned campuses for offline sessions.

• Availability for 1–2 hours per day as per the assigned schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a trainer, mentor, or instructor.

• Strong design portfolio showcasing real-world projects.

• Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, and UX testing.

• Passionate about mentoring and guiding students toward career success.
