UI/UX Design Intern

We are building an innovative travel-tech application that simplifies trip planning, discovery, and booking through an intuitive user experience. Our goal is to make travel effortless, personalized, and visually immersive.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Intern who is passionate about designing digital products. You will work closely with the founder/product team to create beautiful, functional, user-centric designs for our mobile and web experience.

Job Description (JD)

Position: UX/UI Design Intern — Travel Tech App

Duration: 2 Months

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for the travel app.
• Conduct basic user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing.
• Create clean, modern, and responsive UI screens for mobile (iOS/Android) and web.
• Work with the product team to refine UX based on feedback and user insights.
• Develop component libraries, icons, and design assets following brand guidelines.
• Collaborate using Figma or similar design tools.
• Present design ideas, iterations, and final solutions clearly.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Understanding of UX fundamentals — user flows, IA, wireframing, prototyping.
• Ability to create aesthetically pleasing UI layouts and visual designs.
• Basic knowledge of design systems and responsive design principles.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn quickly.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Prior experience working on apps or student design projects.
• Basic understanding of travel industry products.
• Ability to create micro-interactions or animations (optional).
• Knowledge of UX research methodologies.
