PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced UI/UX Lead to join our team and drive the
design vision of our SaaS platform. As the UI/UX Lead, you will be responsible for delivering
a seamless and delightful user experience, owning and evolving our design system, and
leading the charge on conversion rate optimization (CRO) to continuously improve user
engagement and business outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design Ownership: Lead the end-to-end design process across the SaaS platform from discovery, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to high-fidelity UI.
- Design System Management: Build, document, and maintain a scalable design system that ensures consistency, accessibility, and brand alignment across products.
- User-Centered Design: Champion user needs through research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
- Conversion Rate Optimization: Work closely with product, marketing, and analytics teams to implement data-driven design changes that improve key performance metrics such as sign-ups, onboarding success, and feature adoption.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketing to bring ideas to life.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date on UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies to constantly improve our user interfaces and experiences.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role designing for SaaS products.
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design and CRO impact.
- Deep understanding of design systems, component libraries, and Figma (or equivalent design tools).
- Experience with user research, usability testing, A/B testing, and data-informed design decisions.
- Solid grasp of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain design rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or similar for tracking user behavior and optimization opportunities.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of behavioral psychology or persuasive design principles.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Experience designing UI/UX for comparison journeys (e.g., feature, price, or product comparisons) that drive user decision-making.
