Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented mid-level UI Infrastructure Developer to join our UI infrastructure team. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to maintaining and evolving our UI code stack, transitioning from Dojo, Struts, and XSLT-based frameworks to a modern, accessible React and Redux ecosystem. This role places a strong emphasis on accessibility, code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain , and enhance UI components and features within both legacy and modern frameworks. Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver polished, accessible user interfaces. Implement accessibility features and ensure compliance with WCAG standards. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and proactive maintenance of existing UI components. Participate actively in front-end architectural discussions and decisions, particularly around transitioning legacy systems to modern stacks. Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices. Engage in comprehensive code reviews, feature branching, and pull request workflows on GitHub. Required Skills & Experience: Strong proficiency in XSLT, Java, ES3 JavaScript, and CSS. Proficient with React.js, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Solid understanding and demonstrated experience in accessibility standards and WCAG compliance. Experience in writing front-end tests, including unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library. Familiarity and practical experience with build tools like Webpack, NPM, and Node.js. Historical awareness and hands-on experience with Dojo 1.10 highly desirable. Strong understanding of component-based architecture and reusable UI patterns. Comfortable using GitHub workflows, including feature branching, pull requests, and code reviews. Ability to effectively interpret UI/UX specifications and transform them into refined, accessible user interfaces. Qualifications: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Approximately 5 -7 years of relevant professional experience in UI development.
