UAV Technician

As a skilled individual in UAV technology, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to UAV assembly, maintenance, deployment, and troubleshooting. Your primary duties will include wiring, soldering, and making electrical connections as part of drone assembly and maintenance. Additionally, you will assist in the mechanical assembly of drones, ensuring the correct integration of all mechanical and electrical components. You will be required to travel to operational sites and provide field support to the team by assisting with UAV deployment, troubleshooting, and repairs. Conducting pre-flight checks, calibrating UAVs, and ensuring optimal performance before deployment will also be part of your responsibilities. In the event of any electrical or mechanical issues, your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing and resolving them efficiently. Collaboration with engineers and operators will be essential to enhance UAV performance and reliability. Your technical skills should include hands-on experience in soldering and electrical connections, proficiency in mechanical assembly, and a basic understanding of UAV components like motors, ESCs, flight controllers, and power distribution systems. You should also be capable of reading circuit diagrams and troubleshooting electrical problems effectively. Soft skills such as strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments are crucial for success in this role. A willingness to travel for field operations when necessary is also required. Preferred qualifications include experience with UAV flight controllers, knowledge of LiPo battery handling, familiarity with RF communication systems, and basic programming knowledge for UAV customization.
