UAV Technician

As a UAV Technician in our company, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to UAV assembly, maintenance, deployment, and troubleshooting. Here's a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - UAV Wiring & Electrical Work: You will handle all wiring, soldering, and electrical connections required for drone assembly and maintenance. - Mechanical Assembly: Assist in assembling drones, ensuring all mechanical and electrical components are correctly integrated. - Field Support & Operations: Be ready to travel to operational sites and assist the field team with UAV deployment, troubleshooting, and repairs. - Testing & Quality Check: Conduct pre-flight checks, calibrate UAVs, and ensure optimal performance before deployment. - Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix any electrical or mechanical issues that arise in UAV systems. - Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and operators to improve UAV performance and reliability. In terms of required skills and qualifications, we are looking for someone with the following: Technical Skills: - Hands-on experience with soldering and electrical connections. - Proficiency in mechanical assembly and integration of drone components. - Basic understanding of UAV components such as motors, ESCs, flight controllers, and power distribution systems. - Ability to read circuit diagrams and troubleshoot electrical issues. Soft Skills: - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work in a team and take initiative in fast-paced environments. - Willingness to travel for field operations when required. Additionally, the following qualifications would be a plus: - Experience with UAV flight controllers (Pixhawk, DJI, etc.). - Knowledge of LiPo battery handling and safety protocols. - Familiarity with RF communication systems and telemetry modules. - Basic programming knowledge (Python, Arduino, or similar) for UAV customization.
