Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Hindi and English Typist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing speed and accuracy in Hindi and English, along with proficiency in using Hindi typing software and tools such as MS Office. The Hindi Typist will be responsible for preparing, editing, and formatting documents, reports, and other materials in Hindi, ensuring they are grammatically correct and free of errors. Key Responsibilities: Typing and Document Preparation: Type and format documents, reports, letters, and other materials in Hindi with high accuracy and speed. Proofread and edit documents to ensure they are free of typographical, grammatical, and formatting errors. Convert handwritten notes and audio files into typed documents in Hindi. Data Entry: Enter and update data in Hindi into various databases, spreadsheets, and software systems. Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity. Communication: Coordinate with other team members to ensure the timely completion of tasks. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management regarding document requirements and deadlines. File Management: Organize and maintain digital and physical files, ensuring easy retrieval and secure storage of documents. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care. Software Proficiency: Use Hindi typing software and tools efficiently (e.g., Inscript, Krutidev, Remington). Operate general office equipment, such as computers, printers, and scanners. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus. Typing Speed: Minimum typing speed of [X] words per minute in Hindi. Experience: Proven experience as a Hindi Typist or in a similar role. Language Skills: Fluency in Hindi with excellent grammar and spelling. Basic understanding of English is beneficial. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hindi typing software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and general computer skills. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in a government office or similar environment. Familiarity with official Hindi language formatting and documentation standards. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Working Conditions: Full-time position with standard office hours. May require occasional overtime to meet deadlines.
