Two-Wheeler Workshop Manager

The role of a Two-Wheeler Workshop Manager involves overseeing the daily operations of a vehicle service and repair workshop. Your responsibilities will include managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining quality control, handling administrative tasks, and meeting productivity and financial goals. To excel in this role, a strong technical background in automotive repair, exceptional leadership skills, and effective communication abilities are essential. You will be responsible for supervising all mechanical, electrical, and repair work to ensure timely and high-quality service. It is important to schedule and prioritize repair orders for optimal workflow. Additionally, you will need to ensure that tools and equipment are well-maintained and compliant with regulations. Recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating workshop technicians and support staff will also be part of your duties. Creating a positive and productive work environment is crucial, along with liaising with customers to diagnose issues, explain repairs, provide cost estimates, and ensure their satisfaction. Handling customer complaints and service issues promptly and professionally is key. Managing stock levels of parts and materials, monitoring budgets, labor costs, and workshop profitability are also important aspects of this role. Qualifications & Skills required for this position include proven experience in two-wheeler workshop management or a senior technician role, a strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures, leadership and team management capabilities, excellent customer service and communication skills, and competency in workshop management software and computers.
