Turner / Lathe Machine Operator

Job Role: ✅ Set up and operate conventional lathe machines (manual or semi-automatic). ✅ Read and interpret engineering drawings,and job orders. ✅ Perform turning, facing, threading, boring, grooving, and other lathe operations on various metals. ✅ Measure and inspect components using micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, and other precision instruments. ✅ Select appropriate cutting tools and set correct speeds and feeds. ✅ Ensure components are machined as per specified tolerances and surface finish. ✅ Carry out basic machine maintenance and ensure safe working practices are followed. ✅ Maintain cleanliness of machine and work area. Requirements: 🔹 ITI Turner / Fitter or equivalent qualification. 🔹 1-5 years of experience operating lathe machines (manual / semi-automatic). 🔹 Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. 🔹 Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and measuring instruments. 🔹 Strong focus on accuracy, quality, and safety. Preferred Skills:Experience with large-diameter or precision components. Ability to work independently or in a team. Salary:Based on experience and company standards.
