Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC VTL Operator / Programmer to set up, operate, and program vertical turning lathes (VTLs) for machining precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Set up and operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathe machines to perform precision turning, facing, boring, and threading operations. ✅ Read and interpret engineering drawing ✅ Select appropriate tools, inserts, and fixtures for machining. ✅ Write, edit, or modify CNC programs (Fanuc controls). ✅ Perform part inspections using measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges to ensure quality and tolerance requirements are met. ✅ Monitor machine operations and adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling as necessary. ✅ Maintain machines in good working condition and ensure routine maintenance is carried out. ✅ Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the work area. ✅ Record production data and report issues or deviations to supervisors. Requirements:🔹 ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 🔹 2-5 years of hands-on experience in operating and programming CNC VTL machines. 🔹 Knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc systems). 🔹 Ability to read and understand technical drawings. 🔹 Familiarity with machining of large components (optional, based on your industry). 🔹 Good understanding of tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds. 🔹 Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. Preferred Skills:Experience with large diameter jobs. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM (optional). Salary:Based on experience and skills.
