Short Profile: Looking for passionate individuals for the Product and offering Management role in Hybrid Cloud Business unit for FinOps. The key task is to create, manage and enhance the relevant product and service offering by taking inputs from the Pre-Sales, Practice, and Delivery teams. Candidates having 3-6+ Yrs. of experience and bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred). Having Technical background with experience in handling cloud cost optimization from hybrid/hybrid multi cloud perspective. The candidate will leverage their financial, cloud management, and IT experience to identify and help manage cost drivers that align with the organization’s strategies Detail One: The Product Manager Cum Presales will be responsible for the product planning, development, and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure monetary and customer goals are met. Key Requirement Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle Defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, marketing, and support team to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Experience with certification in one/more public/private cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) Experience with cloud capacity forecasting, cost optimization techniques, financial reporting, and workflow management Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders (across IT, finance, business functions) and proactively identify opportunities for cloud cost optimization Experience in administration & management of any FinOps Enterprise Tools like -VMware Cloudhealth/Netapp Spot/Flexera/Turbonomic/Apptio Experience in cost management tactics such as Reserved Instances /Committed Use Discounts/Saving plan/ cost optimization/wastage elimination etc. Good knowledge on cloud billing Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills Ability to work well under- pressure within high performance driven environment Brief and train the sales/presales force at regular sales meetings/conferences on product features and offerings Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) Show more Show less

Your Role And Responsibilities Assist the company in further development of its virtualization management and application resource Management software product – IBM Turbonomic. Serve as a member of the Software Development team and will be responsible for further enhancing the core analytics platform and peripherals of it to add new capabilities for different cloud and on-premise technologies based on unique and innovative technology including Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Software Defined Networking(SDN), and Software Defined Data Center. Specific Responsibilities Include Develop features to enhance cloud capabilities of the product. Provide technical guidance and assistant to engineers and designers responsible for developing new features in cloud related areas. Programming languages used includes but not limited to: Java, Go, React, Python, SQL, etc. Systems and frameworks used for engineering tasks include but not limited to: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, OpenShift, AWS, Azure, VMware. Linux, bash scripting, mvn, NPM, Jest, JProfiler etc. Confer with product managers, engineers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Research public cloud services and come up with optimal ways to build the data model for these cloud computing architectures. Apply strong understanding of virtualization concepts and cloud services including AWS, Microsoft Azure and GCP. Develop automated test suites to verify product behavior. Continue to develop new skills through continuous education to gain expertise both in terms of developing scalable and performant software as well as staying abreast of new cloud service offerings. Preferred Education Master's Degree Required Technical And Professional Expertise 5+ year's experience in software development. Prior work experience using any of the Object-Oriented programming like Java, Go, C#, C++, Python etc, relational Databases and Front-end development using AngularJS or ReactJS. Prior experience in developing components in microservice architecture. Experience in leading new feature development while collaborating with products managers Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and understanding Agile principles.
