Tugboat drive - shipyard

Job Title: Tugboat Driver (with Mechanical Experience)

Location: Kochi

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years

Salary: ₹30,000 per month
(Salary increments after 6 months; Annual salary revision provided every year)

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and maneuver tugboats within the shipyard and port areas.
• Assist in docking, undocking, and towing vessels safely.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the tugboat.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and coordinate repairs when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.
• Maintain logs and reports of daily operations and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a tugboat driver in a shipyard or port environment.
• Strong knowledge of vessel maneuvering and marine operations.
• Mechanical experience and ability to handle basic engine/equipment maintenance.
• Valid marine/boat driving license (if applicable).
• Ability to work in shifts and under challenging conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational efficiency.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
