Job Overview: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key relationships with major healthcare providers, hospitals, and pharmacies. This individual will be a key player in developing and executing sales strategies to increase market share, promote pharmaceutical products, and ensure strong partnerships with key customers. The ASM will act as a strategic partner for clients, ensuring their needs are met while driving the company's revenue goals. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-value accounts (hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical distributors, etc.). Serve as the main point of contact between the pharmaceutical company and key customers. Understand customer needs, identify new opportunities, and align solutions that deliver value to the customer. Distributors for stock Availability for orders Monitor and report on account performance, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Visiting for Corporate Hospitals, Institutions & KOL Dr's Conducting Camps, RTM CME for Business Growth A strong network of contacts within the healthcare industry/in hospitals is a plus. Handling Territory Sales Executive To help TSE To supervise the day-to-day work of TSE's. To plan and recommend tour programs of TSEs for Regional Manager's approval. To work with TSEs in the field and visit with them Doctors, Chemists and Stockiest. To ensure team members maintain Doctor / Chemist Call Average as per the norms of the Organization. To guide TSE's in implementing promotional strategies, detailing techniques, charting of tour programs and correction of their weaknesses. To conduct quarterly conferences of TSE's. To recommend probation and confirmation of TSEs through Regional Manager /Respective Manager, for the approval of Director (Sales & Marketing). Sales Strategy and Execution: Implement tailored sales strategies and promotional activities to achieve business objectives. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize revenue and profitability. Monitor competitors activities and market trends to adjust strategies as necessary. Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to influence the development of future products and solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings. Proactively identify potential new accounts, ensuring a strong pipeline of opportunities. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with marketing, regulatory affairs, and other internal departments to ensure successful product launches and execution of sales initiatives. Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Work closely with medical affairs to provide necessary clinical and technical information to customers. Reporting and Analytics: Maintain accurate and up-1o-date records in the CRM system. * Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, account activities, and market insights. * Prepare sales forecasts and business plans to guide strategy and resource allocation.
