Treasury Principal Structuring and Investment

As a Treasury Principal Structuring and Investment Risk & Analytics at Barclays, your role involves assisting in the production and analysis of financial data for critical business processes of PSI Luxembourg Treasury. You will collaborate closely with Lux to analyze existing processes, identify and implement business process enhancements to streamline activities, improve quality, ensure compliance with the bank-wide Enterprise Risk Management Framework, and bolster resilience. Barclays is committed to shaping the future rather than merely predicting it. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain various risk reports including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risk reports, as well as regulatory reports. - Extract risk data from internal systems, risk models, and external market data feeds for analysis, trend identification, and pattern recognition. - Monitor key risk indicators, assess the impact of risk exposures, and contribute to the development and implementation of risk reporting enhancements and automation initiatives. - Lead and supervise a team, providing guidance, supporting professional development, assigning work requirements, and managing team resources. - Demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviors if in a leadership role, or develop technical expertise and act as an advisor as an individual contributor. - Collaborate with other functions and business areas, take responsibility for the end results of team operational processing and activities, and have an impact on related teams within the area. **Qualifications Required:** - Hold an undergraduate or equivalent degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics. - Possess a strong numerical aptitude, ability to gather and analyze financial information, and innovative problem-solving skills. - Demonstrate a drive for continuous improvement in working environment and analytical skills. - Exhibit strong communication and social skills to effectively engage with demanding business partners and convey complex ideas to internal and external stakeholders. - Highly valued skills include proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of SQL, Hypercube, or Alteryx considered advantageous. - Be team-oriented, adaptable to a fast-paced dynamic environment, and possess a demonstrable understanding of technology and business processes, particularly in Treasury.
