Travel Sales Advisor (Team Lead)

You are a dynamic and experienced professional responsible for leading and training the travel process team. Your primary role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high service standards, and delivering training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge in travel processes, systems, and customer service excellence. In terms of leadership and team management, you will supervise the travel process team to ensure smooth operations and high performance. Setting performance goals, monitoring progress, and providing constructive feedback are crucial aspects of your responsibilities. You will act as the primary point of contact for escalations and issue resolution while also fostering a positive and collaborative team environment. Compliance and reporting are essential components of your role. You must ensure that the team adheres to travel regulations, company policies, and service level agreements. Keeping records of training sessions and performance metrics, as well as preparing reports on team performance, training outcomes, and operational efficiency, are key tasks. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the travel industry, with at least 1 year in a leadership or training role. Strong knowledge of the travel booking system, specifically Amadeus, is required. Proven ability to design and deliver training programs, experience in managing teams, and handling escalations are also essential qualifications. Your skills should include excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities, strong presentation and communication skills, an analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities, proficiency in MS Office Suite and travel management tools, and the ability to adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
