Travel IT product Specialist

As the Travel IT Product Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for integrating and managing travel content (flights, hotels, packages, activities) from global suppliers into our booking systems. You will play a key role in building a reliable, user-friendly platform by connecting GDS, LCCs, and hotel aggregators via APIs and ensuring data accuracy, price competitiveness, and booking flow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate APIs from GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, etc.), LCCs, and hotel providers (e.g., Hotelbeds, TBO, etc.) into our systems.
• Maintain and optimize backend logic for availability, fares, and rules in flight and hotel engines.
• Work with web development and product teams to ensure smooth user journey from search to booking.
• Map supplier data into standardized formats and maintain consistency across the platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to pricing, search, and booking APIs.
• Collaborate with suppliers for credentials, sandbox access, and go-live processes.
• Support testing (UAT) and documentation of integration processes.
• Stay updated with travel technology trends, especially in NDC and dynamic packaging.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in travel technology or API integration.
• Experience with travel APIs (GDS, LCC, Hotel Aggregators) is essential.
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP/XML/JSON and basic coding logic.
• Familiarity with dynamic packaging and travel booking workflows.
• Good communication skills to work with internal teams and external suppliers.

Preferred:

• Experience in OTA/DMC platforms or mid-sized travel businesses.
• Hands-on with tools like Postman, Swagger, or API testing platforms.
• Basic knowledge of fare rules, markups, and content mapping.
