Job Description

Job Title: Travel Executive

Department: Corporate Travel

Job Summary:

The Travel Executive will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and booking travel arrangements for company employees. This includes managing itineraries, arranging transportation and accommodation, providing travel advice, and ensuring a smooth travel experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel Planning & Booking

Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, transportation, and tours.

Ensure bookings meet client/company preferences, budget, and policy.

Itinerary Management

Prepare and share detailed travel itineraries.

Update clients/employees on schedule changes or travel alerts.

Customer Service

Provide travel advice, visa assistance, and destination information.

Handle special requests such as seat preferences, dietary needs, or accessibility requirements.

Vendor Coordination

Liaise with airlines, hotels, transport agencies, and travel partners to secure the best rates and services.

Negotiate contracts or packages where applicable.

Process travel-related payments, invoices, and reimbursements.

Maintain accurate travel records, receipts, and compliance with company travel policy.

Problem-Solving

Handle travel disruptions, cancellations, and emergencies with prompt solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in a travel agency, corporate travel desk, or hospitality industry.

Knowledge of GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is an advantage.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and ability to multitask under tight deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Office and online booking platforms.

Flexibility to work outside normal office hours when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
