Job Description

As a Travel Consultant at our company, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with planning, organizing, and booking their travel experiences. Your main responsibilities will include: - Consulting with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and requirements. - Recommending destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities based on client needs. - Preparing customized travel itineraries, including detailed day-by-day plans. - Booking flights, hotels, tours, cruises, car rentals, and other travel services. - Providing information on visa requirements, travel insurance, and travel regulations. - Handling changes, cancellations, and travel emergencies efficiently. - Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and negotiating competitive rates. - Staying updated on travel trends, promotions, and new destinations. - Ensuring all bookings comply with company policies and client requirements. - Delivering excellent customer service before, during, and after travel. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role is preferred. - Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations. - Proficiency in booking systems (GDS such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre is a plus). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - Ability to multitask and work under pressure. - Customer-focused with problem-solving abilities. In terms of education and experience, a Bachelor's degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in travel or tourism will be an advantage. The work environment for this role is office-based or hybrid, with occasional travel opportunities for familiarization trips. Benefits include paid sick time and the option to work from home. The job types available are full-time, permanent, or internship with a contract length of 3 months. You should have a diploma (preferred) and at least 1 year of total work experience, with 1 year specifically in customer service. Proficiency in English and Hindi is required for this position.,
