Travel Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as a point of contact for all travel-related requests and coordination
• Reconciles travel department invoices and purchase orders for Accounts Payable
• Maintains accurate document control and records for all travel activities
• Updates and manages training matrices, flight logs, and booking registers
• Assists with booking flights, accommodation, vehicles, courses, and medicals
• Supports improvements to the Travel Management System and processes
• Liaises with vendors and internal stakeholders to meet mobilisation timelines
• Previous experience supporting mobilisation for mining, construction, or remote workforce projects is strongly preferred
• Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills — both written and verbal
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• High-level computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Familiarity with Pegasus, travel management tools, and working with Australian stakeholders is beneficial
• Able to work both independently and as part of a distributed team
• Experience in administration and purchasing-related functions
