About the role

This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities through the travel trade

channel by networking with the travel agencies and other travel based organisations. This role

requires a strategic approach to business development, leveraging an extensive network within

the travel industry, and the ability to drive growth in a dynamic, startup-like environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to expand our client

base, focusing on Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), travel agencies, and other travel-based

organizations. Utilize your extensive industry experience to identify and capitalize on new

business opportunities.

  • Networking and Relationship Building: Leverage your established network to build and

maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the travel industry. Represent THV at

industry events, trade fairs, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and forge new

partnerships.

  • Product Development Collaboration: Collaborate with product development teams to

design tailored offerings for popular tourist destinations, ensuring alignment with market

demands and client needs.

  • Client Engagement and Retention: Oversee client engagement strategies, ensuring high

levels of satisfaction and retention. Implement processes for prompt issue resolution and

continuous client communication.

What are we looking for

  • Extensive Industry Experience: Over 8 years of experience in travel sales, with a proven

track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and

implement effective business development strategies.

  • Networking Abilities: Established network within the travel industry and the ability to

build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with

evolving business requirements.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency

in the regional language.
