Job Summary:

We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Travel Agent to join our team. As a Travel Agent, you will help clients plan, book, and coordinate their travel arrangements while delivering exceptional customer service. This includes flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, tours, and more. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and passionate about travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in planning and booking travel arrangements based on their needs and budgets
• Provide detailed information on travel destinations, transportation options, accommodation, and local attractions
• Research and compare travel options to find the best deals for clients
• Book flights, hotels, rental cars, cruises, and vacation packages using booking systems or GDS platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo)
• Offer travel insurance and visa assistance when necessary
• Resolve client issues and handle changes, cancellations, or emergencies with professionalism
• Keep accurate records of client preferences, bookings, and payments
• Stay updated on travel regulations, COVID-related restrictions, and industry trends
• Promote and upsell additional services and upgrades to enhance the client experience
• Meet monthly sales goals and performance targets

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a travel agent or in a related customer service or sales role (preferred)
• Proficiency with travel booking platforms and/or GDS (training can be provided)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Passion for travel and destination knowledge
• High school diploma required; certification in travel or tourism is a plus
