Identify new vendors for lanes/geographies that need support & new projects
Rate Negotiation and contract creation
New Vendor onboarding (regional vendors)
Vendor Management Processes - MIS format, billing process , escalation matrix etc.
Existing Vendors
Contract Renewal ; Ensure Contract Renewal before Expiry
Vendor performance management at regional or central level (X-project / location)
Vendor and Operations Team coordination
Interface for Vendor issue resolution billing , delayed payments etc. ; Overdue Outstanding Payment Monitoring and support release of payment to Service Providers
Follow up with Commercial Team for Vendor Payment
Escalation point for operational issue ; Permanent Corrective Action for the repeated Operational Escalation
Central Transportation Initiatives
Vendor Rationalization
Identify & drive common cost Reduction Initiatives (e.g. biker consolidation approach)
Act as Techlog anchor for tech initiatives (e.g. interface with courier partners for APIs)
