Transport In-charge

We are seeking a responsible and organized Transport In-Charge to manage the transportation operations of our organization. The ideal candidate should ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective transport services while coordinating with drivers, staff, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily transport schedules for staff, students, or goods.
• Supervise drivers, conductors, and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure timely maintenance, servicing, and registration of vehicles.
• Monitor fuel consumption and manage fuel-related records.
• Maintain vehicle logs, route plans, and transport-related documentation.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols for vehicles and passengers.
• Handle transport-related queries, complaints, or emergencies.
• Coordinate with management for transport budgeting and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with local transport regulations and licenses.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum Bachleor’s Degree
• 3–7 years of experience in transport management or fleet operations.
• Knowledge of traffic rules, vehicle maintenance, and safety standards.
• Good organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple routes and schedules efficiently.
• Proficiency in basic record-keeping and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing school, corporate, or institutional transport operations.
• Knowledge of vehicle tracking systems or transport management software.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Saturday (or as per organizational requirements)
• Flexibility for early mornings or late evenings, depending on routes.
