Job Description

  • Job Title: Transport Executive

Location: Pune
Department: Administration / Facility Management
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose:

The Transport Executive will be responsible for managing the daily operations of employee transportation services, vendor coordination, route planning, cost optimization, and ensuring smooth and safe travel experiences for employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day transport operations, including employee pick-up and drop services.
  • Coordinate with transport vendors, drivers, and cab operators to ensure timely services.
  • Prepare and monitor transport schedules, routes, and rosters.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and company policies regarding transport services.
  • Track and monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and trip records for cost control.
  • Handle employee transport queries, complaints, and provide quick resolutions.
  • Monitor GPS-enabled transport systems and ensure timely reporting.
  • Conduct regular audits of vendor bills, trip sheets, and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of vehicles and check driver behavior, discipline, and adherence to traffic rules.
  • Assist in emergency travel arrangements and manage escalation during breakdowns or delays.
  • Generate transport MIS reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for management review.
  • Identify areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements in transportation operations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of transport regulations, RTO compliance, and safety norms.
  • Ability to handle vendor management and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and transport tracking software (GPS, routing tools).
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferred in Business Administration / Logistics).
  • 3–6 years of experience in transport / logistics / facility operations.
  • Experience in managing employee transportation in corporate setup preferred.

Additional Information:

  • Immediate Joiners Preferred.
  • Candidates with prior experience in Pune location transport operations will be an added advantage.
