Transport Assistant Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a Transport Assistant Manager to manage and support day-to-day transportation operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in employee transport management, excellent communication skills, and proven expertise in Excel-based reporting and data management. The role requires flexibility to work in a 247 environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily employee transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient pickup and drop-off services.
Coordinate with transport vendors, drivers, and employees to manage schedules, routes, and service quality.
Monitor and report on transport performance metrics, costs, and utilization using advanced Excel tools.
Handle escalations and resolve transport-related issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with organizational transport policies and safety standards.
Support monthly billing validation, MIS reporting, and audit requirements.
Collaborate with HR, Admin, and vendor teams for smooth operational execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

58 years of experience in employee transport operations.
Consistent career history with long tenure in previous organizations.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, etc.).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a 247 environment and handle multiple priorities.
Immediate joiner preferred.
