Role Overview

We are seeking highly skilled Hindi translators on a short-term contractual basis to support our projects. The role involves translating documents, policy briefs, and parliamentary proceedings from English to Hindi and vice versa while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and linguistic nuance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Translate documents, reports, and content swiftly between English and Hindi while maintaining accuracy.
2. Proofread and edit translated content for linguistic and contextual correctness.
3. Ensure strict adherence to deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
4. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and information.
5. Contribute ideas to improve the quality and efficiency of content production.
6. Translate and summarise parliamentary proceedings, policy briefs, and research documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Professional proficiency in both English and Hindi (written and verbal).
2. 1-2 years of experience in translation, content writing, or a related role.
3. Bachelor’s degree in English, Hindi literature, or a related field (preferred).
4. Fast typing skills in both English and Hindi and proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office.
5. Strong verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
6. Basic understanding of Indian politics and governance.
7. Goal-driven and deadline-orientated mindset.
