Job Description

Candidates must be form Chennai location only

Must have global banking exposure

Key Responsibilities:

Perform
Transaction Monitoring (TM)
and
Account Activity Reviews
for existing and new clients to detect unusual or suspicious transactions.
Conduct
KYC, CDD, and EDD
checks for onboarding and periodic reviews.
Prepare, update, and maintain client profiles accurately based on risk classification.
Review sanctions, PEP, adverse media, and relevant screening results to identify potential financial crime risks.
Gather, research, and validate client information using public domain sources, online tools, and internal systems.
Conduct QSS real-time scans to validate ownership and ensure profile completeness.
Work closely with internal teams and relationship managers for data clarification and additional documentation.
Ensure compliance with AML, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Identify discrepancies, escalate potential red flags, and document findings clearly.
Contribute to team reporting, quality checks, and process enhancements.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong
Transaction Monitoring
experience (mandatory).
Core
KYC
knowledge across multiple client types.
Hands-on experience in
AML investigations
.
Expertise in
CDD & EDD
.
Strong analytical and risk assessment capability.
High attention to detail for reviewing documents and client data.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred candidate profile

5 -7 yrs experience required.
