Job Description

As a Placement Officer at EduGuild, your role is crucial in connecting talented learners with opportunities that can truly change their lives. You will have the opportunity to build and nurture meaningful relationships with companies and recruiters who share our vision for education and growth. Your key responsibilities will include guiding students in preparing for placements, organizing placement drives and career fairs, and collaborating with academic and training teams to align student development with market needs. Additionally, you will provide genuine career guidance and mentorship to help students identify and pursue their ideal career paths. Key Responsibilities: - Build and nurture meaningful relationships with companies and recruiters who share our vision for education and growth. - Guide students in preparing for placements from crafting strong resumes to building confidence for interviews. - Organize placement drives, career fairs and networking sessions that connect students with real-world opportunities. - Maintain and update student placement data, feedback and success stories to help improve our process continuously. - Collaborate with academic and training teams to align student development with market needs. - Provide genuine career guidance and mentorship to help students identify and pursue their ideal career paths. Qualifications Required: - A bachelor's or master's degree in Business, HR, Education, or a related field. - Strong communication and networking skills, with the ability to connect well with both students and employers. - A sincere passion for helping students succeed not just professionally, but personally. - Prior experience in placements, recruitment, or career services is a plus (but not mandatory for the right mindset). - A proactive, problem-solving attitude with the willingness to grow alongside a fast-moving startup. - Strong organizational and negotiation abilities. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
