Training Head (Learning & Development)

As the Technical Training Head in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in leading technology learning within the Learning & Development function of the organization. With 10-15 years of experience in the field, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the Tech Learning Academy roadmap in alignment with the bank's digital transformation and tech strategy. Your key responsibilities will include developing learning journeys for various job families such as software developers, architects, infrastructure engineers, data scientists, and UX designers. You will lead the creation of onboarding-to-proficiency pathways for both lateral hires and freshers, and drive a strategic approach towards tech learning by leveraging top platforms like Coursera, Udemy, Pluralsight, and designing in-house programs. Collaborating closely with tech leaders, you will conduct capability diagnostics, skill gap assessments, and define role-specific success profiles. Implementing certification pathways in emerging technologies such as Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, AI/ML, you will deploy blended learning methodologies including e-learning, lab simulations, workshops, bootcamps, coaching, and communities of practice. Your role will also involve identifying, onboarding, and managing external partners, instructors, and platforms. Setting up a robust learning governance framework, success metrics, and ROI measurement, you will track global tech learning trends, L&D innovations, and benchmark best practices in tech academies. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing program budgets, learning infrastructure, tech tools (LMS, LXP), and vendor contracts.
