Training Coach

Job summary

Working as part of a world-class engineering team, you will be providing high-level software development coaching and professional development support for the needs of the engineering team, including remote and onsite training.

Skills and experience required:

·       Must have experience of working as a software development teacher, lecturer, coach or trainer in a company environment, university or secondary school.  

·       Degree educated in Computer Science, Informatics or a related discipline

·       Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and related technologies such as C# and .NET

·       Excellent teaching skills

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Excellent presentation skills

·       Ability to deliver training to staff at all levels within engineering with varying degrees of technical skills

·       Ability to create, roll out and use eLearning training tools - creating eLearning training for all levels of users

Core responsibilities

·       Reviewing and updating existing training materials and videos 

·       Preparing and delivering coaching materials to internal users

·       Proactively participating in business-wide rollouts of coaching and professional development initiatives

·       Reviewing, preparing and participating in new starter induction training

·       Assisting with continuous development of experienced employees

·       Creating and implementing assessments for various stages of employment lifecycle – from technical interview questions to post-training assessments for new and current employees
