Training and Placement Officer (TPO)

As a Training & Placement Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain strong relationships with companies, HR professionals, and recruitment agencies. You will be tasked with organizing campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and industry interaction events to facilitate student placements. It will be your duty to prepare placement strategies and targets that are aligned with current market trends. In this role, you will play a crucial part in guiding and mentoring students in resume building, interview preparation, and soft skills development. You will collaborate with faculty members to integrate training programs into the curriculum effectively. Managing internship opportunities and ensuring their completion and documentation will also fall under your purview. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining placement records, providing regular reports to the management, and coordinating with alumni to facilitate industry connections and mentorship opportunities. Your role will also involve promoting the institution's talent pool to potential recruiters. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree, with an MBA/PGDM being preferred. A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in Training & Placement or HR/Recruitment is required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in MS Office, placement management software, and digital communication tools is a must. A strategic mindset with a results-driven approach will be beneficial for success in this role.
