Role Overview

The Trainer – Placements & Employability will be responsible for training students to be industry-ready by improving their aptitude, soft skills, communication, interview skills, and placement readiness. The trainer will work closely with the Placement Cell, faculty, and students across multiple programs.

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Skill Development

• Conduct regular training sessions on:
• Aptitude (Quantitative, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability)
• Soft skills & professional communication
• Interview skills (HR & technical basics)
• Resume writing and LinkedIn profile optimization
• Deliver workshops on group discussions, mock interviews, and personality development.

Placement Readiness

• Prepare students for campus placements, internships, and job fairs.
• Support students in understanding corporate expectations and workplace etiquette.
• Track student attendance, performance, and improvement during training sessions.

Coordination & Support

• Work closely with the Placement Officer / Director – Placements.
• Coordinate with faculty and HoDs to schedule training without disturbing academics.
• Assist during placement drives and pre-placement talks.

Content & Assessment

• Develop training materials, presentations, assessments, and mock tests.
• Conduct pre- and post-training evaluations to measure effectiveness.
• Maintain training reports and student progress data.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in placement training, employability training, or corporate training.
• Strong command over English communication.
• Experience in aptitude training and soft skills development.
• Ability to handle large student groups confidently.
• Exposure to campus placement environments is an added advantage.
