Location: Anywhere in Tamil Nadu.

Job Description:

The Trainer – Painter will be responsible for delivering high-quality skill development training to students/trainees in the field of painting (decorative, industrial, or automotive as applicable). The role involves developing practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and ensuring trainees meet industry standards. The trainer should also motivate and mentor students for successful placement and career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on painting techniques, tools, equipment, safety standards, and surface preparation.
• Train candidates on painting processes such as putty application, primer, enamel, emulsion, spray painting, finishing, and polishing.
• Impart knowledge of tools, materials, color mixing, coatings, and painting safety practices.
• Demonstrate hands-on skills and supervise trainees during practical workshops.
• Assess and evaluate trainees’ progress through assignments, practical tests, and theory exams.
• Maintain training records, attendance, and performance reports.
• Ensure adherence to industry safety guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers to update and improve training content.
• Guide trainees in developing soft skills like communication, workplace discipline, and teamwork.
• Support the placement cell by preparing trainees for interviews and workplace readiness.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of painting techniques (decorative, industrial, or automotive depending on domain).
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and demonstrate practical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong mentoring and motivational abilities.
• Knowledge of safety standards and ability to enforce them.
• Basic computer literacy for maintaining reports and training documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma / Certification in Painter (General/Industrial) or relevant field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Vocational Education / Engineering (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of industry experience as a Painter (Decorative/Industrial).
• Prior teaching/training experience will be an added advantage.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel for training assignments (if required).
• Flexibility to train across different locations/projects.
• Passion for skill development and capacity building.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
