Trainer -Incense Stick and Fashion Design

Role Overview:

Incense Stick (Agarbatti) Making

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver practical, engaging training sessions in:

• Incense Stick Making:

  Material preparation, rolling, drying, fragrance application, and packaging

• Fashion Design:

  Basic stitching, cutting, designing, finishing, and garment construction
• Develop session plans and maintain training schedules in alignment with project goals
  
• Ensure proper documentation of attendance, progress reports, and assessments
  
• Monitor and support the productivity and quality output of the trainees
  
• Provide mentorship and build confidence among women learners from varied socio-economic backgrounds
  
• Work collaboratively with the program team to organize exhibitions, certification events, or product showcases
  
• Maintain training tools and equipment in good condition
  
• Address challenges or gaps in learning and provide remedial support
  

Qualifications & Experience:

For Incense Stick Trainer:

• ITI/Diploma in Agarbatti Making or relevant vocational course with minimum 5 years of hands-on training experience
  
• OR Graduate/Postgraduate with 23 years of experience in incense stick production and training in community-based skill programs
  

For Fashion Design Trainer:

• ITI/Diploma in Fashion Design, Tailoring, or related field with minimum 5 years of experience in teaching or vocational training
  
• OR Graduate/Postgraduate in Fashion Design with 23 years of experience in skill development programs or NGO projects
  

Key Skills Required:

• Strong technical knowledge of either incense stick making or fashion design/tailoring
  
• Effective teaching and communication skills, especially with women from rural or marginalized communities
  
• Patience, empathy, and motivational skills
  
• Ability to develop lesson plans, maintain training records, and report progress
  
• Proficiency in the local language (spoken and written)
  
• Basic knowledge of quality control in production settings
  
• Familiarity with community training or social sector programs is a plus
  
• Having a personal bike and a valid driving license is preferred for field movement
