Job description

GMR Varalakshmi Foundation – the CSR arm of the GMR Group, for its flagship skilling program based in New Delhi is looking for Dynamic, Talented, and Eligible individual to fill up the position of Trainer – Business Banking Associate at Center for Empowerment & Livelihoods (5 Star rated & NSDC accredited). The Centre serves as an epitome of Vocational training. It has been recognized globally with features such as a State-of-the-art campus and modern Labs and classrooms fully equipped with essential equipments necessary for creating a nurturing environment. It has been serving for more than a decade as a stronghold for the underprivileged and marginalized youths who remain deprived of mainstream education and the opportunity to succeed in life.

Core Skills Required -:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identification and sourcing of the potential candidates to form training batches as per the assigned batch plans.
  • Lead the training and capacity building of trainees enrolled to ensure quality delivery of skill development programs using interactive, participative, and experiential methods.
  • Mentor the trainees to continuously improve.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and refine content based on participant feedback and evolving industry needs.
  • Delivering routine training sessions to ensure consistency, engagement, and learner-centered approaches.
  • Collaborate with industry experts and employers to align training content with job market requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in employability training, job market demands, and pedagogical techniques.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all trainings, workshops, and program activities produce detailed reports on training outcomes and best practices, and establish mechanisms for continuous feedback to improve training quality and relevance.
  • Develop and deliver effective training programs tailored to the needs of Target audiences.
  • Assess participants' skill levels and training needs to create customized learning pathways.
  • Utilize various instructional techniques and formats to facilitate engaging training sessions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate and relevant.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to participants to reinforce learning and application of skills.
  • Experience in developing training modules and content, with an ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for helping others succeed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or corporate training ( Experience of working on Tallys (9.1 or 9.2) would be given prefrence)
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, Insurance services, financial products, risk management, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and the local language.
  • Experience in training and mentoring youth, preferably from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital training tools.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young learners to build their careers in the banking sector.
  • Strong networking skills to establish partnerships with banks and financial institutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Training & Development, Banking, or Financial Management.
  • Prior experience in skill development programs or government-funded training initiatives.
  • Understanding of youth employability challenges and strategies for workforce readiness.
