Trainee Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in building and maintaining both front-end and back-end web applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on experience in software development using modern frameworks and technologies.
Internship Duration: 6 months

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related engineering background.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases like MySQL, MariaDB or MSSQL.
• Knowledge of server-side languages such as PHP or Python.
• Understanding of version control systems like GIT and cloud GIT repositories like BitBucket or GitHub.
• Basic knowledge of Linux distribution-based OS like Ubuntu.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.‍

Bonus Skills (Nice to have)

• Hands-on experience with Laravel PHP framework with popular packages like Passport, Mix, Telescope, and Socialite.
• Familiarity with web servers like Nginx or Apache.
• Familiarity with dependency managers like Composer or NPM.
• Familiarity with preprocessor scripting languages like SCSS or SASS.
• Familiarity with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with search engines like Elasticsearch.

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using frontend and backend technologies.
• Collaborate with the Lead Software Engineer to system design, code, and deploy scalable solutions.
• Follow industry standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot bugs and write clean, optimised code.
• Integrate APIs and work on third-party services.

Mentorship and hands-on experience in full-stack development.

Exposure to real-world projects and Agile methodologies.
