Trainee HVAC

As an HVAC Assistant, your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in preparing the room book. - Assisting in preparing layout zoning, AHU zoning, and pressure differential. - Assisting in preparing heat load calculations. - Assisting in creating an HVAC electrical load list. - Assisting in calculating Bill of Quantities (BOQ). - Sending inquiries and obtaining offers for HVAC components. - Preparing budgetary costing for HVAC projects. - Creating technical specifications for HVAC equipment. - Verifying BOQ from clients and generating query lists. - Conducting discussions with vendors for technical details and offers. For cleanroom projects, your duties will involve: - Assisting in designing layouts for epoxy flooring, clean room furniture, fenders, and ceiling plans. - Calculating Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for cleanroom components. - Sending inquiries and obtaining offers for clean-room components and accessories. - Preparing budgetary costing for cleanroom projects. - Verifying BOQ from clients and creating query lists. - Engaging in discussions with vendors for technical details and offers. Your skills and competencies should include: - Good communication, interpersonal, and convincing skills. - Self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Good negotiation skills. - Basic understanding of duct size calculation software. Your knowledge should cover the following areas: - Working knowledge of AutoCAD. - Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Basic understanding of duct size calculation software. - Awareness of HVAC equipment specifications and selection. - Basic understanding of major HVAC or clean-room equipment and their component vendors or manufacturers.
